Our partnership has a range of next generation sequencing platforms that provide the best performance.
Our team have expertise in using all platforms to maximise the outputs of data for each project.
A world leader in sequencing platforms, we have a number of Illumina sequencing instruments including NovaSeq, NextSeq, and MiSeq. These instruments have the capacity to produce large data sets and multiple samples can be sequenced during the same run. Therefore, we can maximise the number of samples per run while maintaining a sufficient sequencing depth.

We have several Ion Torrent Proton and PGM platforms which are ideal for targeted sequencing applications and smaller sample sizes. The Proton instruments generate up to 80 million reads per run, while the PGM’s produce up to 5.5 million reads per run. Ion Torrent platforms have shorter run times than many other sequencers, making them a good option for projects which require a rapid sequencing turnaround time.
The 10x Genomics Chromium system works in tandem with the Illumina sequencing platforms. It is used for the preparation of cells (between 1,000 – 20,000 cells) for single cell transcriptomics. In this workflow, each cell is lysed in the presence of single bead that captures all the mRNA within each cell. Following the use of the Chromium system, prepared samples are sequenced using the Illumina platform to ensure a high yield of reads per cell.
